Where exactly do you "order" these from? I don't see a way to add these to the cart at Alberta Tactical Rifle Supply's website. In fact, it doesn't seem like they sell any of their products online.
Call or email in your order. Their website isn't a "live" or "interactive" website with a typical "Add to Cart" feature.

Love to buy some, but does anyone have a copy of the rcmp approval letter, I know Wolverine is still waiting on there's for the EL mags, the vz 58 mags from zhale crashed and burned fast.
And the Lar mags are no longer made??

Yes. ATRS has approval. These are made for their AT15 pistol which also has an FRT. They aren't just making a magazine for a gun they don't produce like others are. That is why they didn't make them for the LAR15.
Thanks! Much appreciated! It is kind of surprising that they use 1960's catalog ordering procedures in 2013 though (phone/letter form orders)... especially if they already have a website running. Oh well!

As Fenceline already mentined, these mags are made specifically for their Alberta Tactical (the AT in the AT15 magazine) pistol and not an AR. Considering how much effort, time and money they've got into their business, I VERY highly doubt Rick & cie would risk it all w/o going through the proper approvals before bringing a product to the market.

For sure , rick is a smart man, but im just asking as I have not seen anything in writing, and, there is going to be some major hurt coming with the ar15 pistol/rifle mags so just looking for some info.

I can't wait. I order 6 of them. And yes depending on the firearm you might have to do a little trimming , no big deal a friend of mine tried the mags in a LMT with no problems but with his Core the mags were not locking in. Trimmed off a .5mm on the top of the detent and problem gone

And just to clarify, the RCMP didn't make a decision on the 10rd mag, they just clarified that it falls into the same rule/loophole/law (whatever you want to call it) that allows you to put 12 rds of 9mm in a 40 S&W mag.

I can appreciate that as a dealer, but on the other hand, why the fear mongering based on what I will only guess are pure rumors, he said-she said BS?

No fear mongering , its in known that the RCMP weapons lab is reviewing every single sample of 10rd ar15 pistol mag, in order to prove that the mags are new made not just re stamped / engraved rifle mags. Im just asking about the new kid on the block and whats has been set in place to make sure that the mags are good to go, but as its been posted AT has or is making a AR15 pistol and is having/had made ar15 pistol mags for that gun. this is good to know!! and I feel with this info that there is a greater change of the AR15 pistol mag being good to go, as long as its not just a re marked CCA rifle mag. If AT has made a pistol then there must be an FRT for the ar15 pistol showing at15 pistol, with 10 rd cap, side noted that it takes ar15 pistol mags and who the MFG is.

How would that be done? As the mags are the same dimensions the same stamping/ mouldings would be used, even if they used separate tooling how could you prove which tooling was used?
From what I hear.... the mag is noticably different then a standard 20 round mag. The Follower is custom to limit the round count to ten and the whole thing is ultra sonically welded so you cannot modify the internals. Because it is welded a different spring is used as the only way to clean it is to dunk it......So, it is a custom mag for thier rifle.

From what Dustin has personally told me and what Rick has posted in the last week or two, what you said is pretty much right on the money.
These mags were made for them specifically, which requiring them to put in a large order to justify the custom mold be casted by CAA specifically for the AT15.
There are no "if" regarding ATRS manufacturing a pistol
