Bushnell TRS-25, is this normal?

Hi Guys,

Wanted a cheap red dot sight, ended up grabbing the Bushnell TRS-25... Was just looking at the front lens and noticed this imperfection along the edge, was wondering if anyone could tell me if this is an issue or not. Was pretty hard to photograph, but the blemish in question is on the bottom left side of the lens.

It isn't visible when looking through the scope, only if you look at the scope from the front. Can't tell if it is a crack or chip and might get worse, or if it is a non-issue aesthetic blemish... Do you think it is worth returning it for another one? I have no experience with optics at all, my other guns are all iron sights, sorry if this is a noob question.

Hard to see in your pictures but the lens on the TRS-25 sits on an angle by design. That and the fact that the emitter is visible when looking through the tube are just the way it goes. Good value reddot.

There are "matte" scope touch up pens that would make that invisible.

The mark is on the lens, I think it is something to do with the coating but it isn't visible through the scope in any way... Are these touch up pens for the lens itself?
 
They are in Richmond hill. Take it in, they'll probably just hand you a new one. Bushnell is hard to beat for customer service. They've replaced 10 year old scopes for me that we're cheap to begin with.
