Accurate powder measure

I have the basic powder measure that came with the Lee Anniversary set. It's a beginner set. Gets the job done but isn't as accurate or consistent as I'd like.

I use a digital scale to measure my powder and calibrate it every reloading session. I doubt it's the scale.

What other powder measures would you recommend that would perform better? Thanks!
 
I have the one that came with the 50th Anniversary kit. I don't tap it but I do work the dispenser arm the same (or as much as possible) way each time down to the same speed and so far it's been within .1gr. So far I'm just measuring stick powder.
 
I have the redding model 3 and a hornady lock and load. Being that I mainly use the hornady for my pistol, and redding for my rifle, I must say that the hornady is more universal especially if you both rotor assemblies (pistol and rifle). Both have served me well, but the redding definatly works better with the larger charges and extruded powder. I guess the real question is what kind of powder will you be throwing?

Small ball powders seem to be a problem with my Lee Autodisk. I have a great load with TAC's True Blue for 9 mm, but the bloody disk always jams up after a certain number of loads. One has to be careful too, because sometimes, the load gets smaller and smaller as the "mound" builds up inside.
 
I'm on the fence with a digital scale versus a slide scale. I find I have been getting different amounts depending on what scale that I use... mind you I only have the basic Hornady digital scale (about 30 bucks). For my scale, I drop about .5 short and then just trickle up. My lee measure is right on the money give or take .1-.2gr.

I'll second that. What shouldn't be, is. Certainly my Redding is no piece of junk but against all expectations, my Hornady charger shows awesome consistency. To the OP I say, "get a Hornady charger and don't look back". Also, don't be too sure its not your scale. Absolutely the best bang for your reloading buck is a RCBS, Redding, or similar quality balance beam scale. The static in your sweater, solar flares and butterfly farts affect BB scales far less and they're just as accurate as anything digital that would cost xx the price.
 
Gempro is hyper accurate but slow. I use my ribs charge master to auto build fast light charges than hand trickle precisely on the gem pro.
