AR-15's

Thanks man!

I had her out again this weekend in the wet rain lol

I shot this 20 round (2 10 round LAR-15 mags) from the prone at 100 meters with shi**y MFS 55gr Ammo.

Windage was slightly left before I adjusted but it was the best I shot that day with her:

I dunno, man, the MFS was working pretty well in my borrowed 1919 that day...

Nice MK114!

Just wondering - Why did you decide to swap out the break to a Battlecomp?

Thanks! - Had an extra BC kicking around and wanted to try it based on reviews and the fact that the muzzle climb is almost non-existent.
I use this setup for mostly CQ (25yards and less) so I wanted something suitable for double taps and range Ninja stuff.

I read earlier that this thread is full of shiny new ARs that are probably photographed more than fired. Personally, I like to keep all of my firearms shiny, clean and smelling of G36 or CLP, but once in a while, the tools end up in the mud or dirt and get covered in crap:

One of these really is a toy, when I used to slay dragons as a chairsofter, haha! I used to collect airsoft toys, but I never actually played. I guess it must have come from the scale modeller in me and my appreciation for detailed replicas of things I could never buy at the time.

How do you like your marauder so far?

took me another glance heh.

Also what is it with (what appears to be) crayon on the bottom pic on the left side, just obove the magwell?!

The Marauder is fun, cheap, easy to install. My friend did the initial installation for me, but since then, I’ve stripped the thing down and it was pretty straight forward to put it back together again. It’s heavy, a lot heavier than you’d think for a .22 rifle. It feels durable, like you can really toss it around and abuse the hell out of it without worrying too much.

The ergonomics feel good surprisingly. I’ve been spoiled with an adjustable length of pull with my AR and the C7, but the Marauder just happens to be the right length for me. There’s practically no recoil when you shoot it, and it’s shooting pretty accurately supported. I did a rapid mag dump of 25 rounds from an unsupported position, 10 meters away and was able to get a hand size grouping, I dunno, is that considered decent? With the full archangel magazine shell on the mag itself, it doesn’t seat properly and will release if you tilt the mag forward and yank on it (without even touching the mag release). If you use the bare mag itself (without the fake 5.56 cover), there are no issues.

If you want to detail clean your 10/22 underneath, it’s a pain in the #### because you have to take off the stock to get to your 10/22, which entails a number of really long screws…..my solution, hose down the parts you can touch with CLP or G36, wipe it down, then run a bore snake through it a few times, and maybe pull the whole thing apart once a month or so to do a detailed cleaning.

I got a hammer/sear kit for it, put it all together, then realized I forgot to lube the moving parts and had to take it all apart again….PAIN IN THE D-I-C-K.

And that mess on the Norc CQ-A? Haha, that was a face tattoo I stuck on in my feeble attemps to cover up the Norc Logo......epic fail is an understatement.

I got a Murauder as well. it's a fine plinker. I just find that any added on scope/sight sits a bit too high, so I think I'll shot it all with the sights it comes with.

Haha... yeah no worries. Nothing wrong with the Norcs.

Yeah, that red dot I mounted on there is way too high, and it's not even a really high mount. I can't get a good cheek-weld so I'll have to settle for a chin-weld while the optics are on it, haha!

Here is my first AR!

I just received the extension tube and finally have the lower complete :) now the work starts on the upper with an 11.5 barrel.

That sure is a nice lower... but it aint no AR... :p

I have all my upper parts on the way or here already ( except the upper :( lol and a rail). Not sure if I want too go thought the hassle of importing one from the states.

Only uppers I've been able to locate are 6061 aluminium or lack m4 feed ramps or sold out.
