Can't say I blame you at all, Dawg... I was the same way, anticipating my delivery! if nothing else, this "deal" from Canada Ammo

has rekindled my interest in the hobby. I almost prefer the "tinkering" to the shooting! LOL

Remember you kids.........

don't want to participate in this deal there is plenty of 1911A1's from this deal on "sale" in the EE.......for some reason there all like $300ish Even the one's that have been test fired! :slap:

I saw one for $350.....I think it might have come with extra mags or something.

there is no way this is remotely right

The more I think about it, the more sure I am that StripperClipper is absolutely correct! And, uh...I just happen to have one available for $375, plus shipping...

Got mine today. I figured it would have cracked grips, which it did, so I ordered some from Thailand in advance. My friend came over and we stripped it completely and cleaned it. It looks better than I thought it would and I can hardly wait to get it to the range.
And thanks for the extra swag Canada Ammo!

LOL .
Keep your fuzzy math to yourself

:) will do.

Speaking of fuzzy, the whole "these things were made for the Marine Corp" thing. Surely the Chinese Government understands the U.S. cannot and would not ever purchase these for U.S. troops right?

Dooh, never mind...I'm a little slow tonight (easy, bcshooter) Yea, yes! I absolutely agree with stripperclipper...Marine Corp it is! ;)

Canpar tried delivering this morning, july 11th

Two weeks, with a long weekend in there too. 9 business days is pretty flippin awesome if you ask me.

Not that I actually have it, I missed the delivery...

Ordered June 28th
Charged on the 30th I think
Website shows waiting on CFC still

I come home tonight and there is a delivery notice sticking out of my mailbox and a letter from the CFO. I got all excited!! Letter has my updated LATT for this one and the "process of getting you your certs" letter. Unfortunately the delivery notification was for a package not from BC :(

Drat. Hopefully mine should ship soon.

Yah I know Luke. I just got excited at the possibility of it being at the post office :) If I got my letter in the mail for the certs and the LATT then it should be transferred already. Just need to wait to ship.

Won't be long, the Nova Scotia CFO is fast, My first combo got delivered in just 1 month exactly ordered on April 23rd! It takes 10 days for the ground trip from B.C. to Halifax and they were right on! My second one was ordered on June 26 and is on the way here now est arrival july 17th! Fantastic! Glad it is free shipping, don't want to think what the shipping would be almost all the way across the country!

Well, my "exotic" Roble Sabana wood grips arrived today...

Not quite as nice as I'd expected. They look OK, but the bottoms are not symmetrical, (the left one looks odd) and are thicker and more rounded than either the

originals or my Chip McCormick rosewood grips. A bit slick, too. Not suitable for inlaying the medallions I acquired.

So I guess I'll be on the hunt for yet another set of wood! Maybe I should

order a third combo, so as not to waste grips... ROTFL! :)
