H&K supplier?

As I remember HK do not sell 10.5" to civilian. Most the 10.5" leak out by the LE user in US

That's why you see peolpe pay sky high price like $5000 for those 10.5" upper in hkpro
 
No The uppers go for 5K because they're usually the 416s.

There's a guy in the US who makes custom barrels, might be the way to go (if he makes them in '.223' lol)

Tactical Imports said HK Germany doesn't sell "military" barrels. Only Sporting barrels (which the 14+ falls under)

Tried Alberta Tactical (Wolverines said to give them a try maybe) , No.
 
Well if you check HK official web site you will only see 10.5" under LE / military section
So technically there is no 10.5" "MR556 / 223" upper.
All 10.5" upper is the 416 upper. and they are rare and hot item even down to the south

Now I keep kicking myself because I was able to get one for very reasonable price but I didnt pull the trigger

And like you said in Germany they can't sell the military barrel to the civilian


The custom made barrel will not even come close to the HK factory cold hamme forged barrel
but it will cost way less

Yeah. These things are moving at iceberg speed.

The 11 might be a tad too long. And Im very impatient sometimes. But I think you're right. Patience is a virtue.
 
Well. If you don't mind to pay the premium you can still locate a 10.5" 416 upper and get it import into Canada
anytime.

That's the cost for been impatient But if you can afford it why not

You got to pay to drive the race spec Porsche instead the demotic or the common street version lol
 
Well I think the 416A5 is now there model of choice for 556 so the standard 416 is now transitioning out of production...I wonder how long till we see any more changes to the MR line will take...

But yeah RNicholls/FNsports is the worst...
