I always wanted my very own Fortier stock... I finally got the opportunity to have Bob build one for me. I'll be fitting the rifle with a scope before deer season. What do you fellas think?

Nice, how does the old girl shoot? I picked up a P14 this spring in a ratty, unevenly belt sanded stock. After many, many passes of copper remover and Elite solvent it revealed a fairly nice bore and the thing shoots nicely with the open sights. I'm hoping to get a nice laminate stock from Boyd's and a scope mount, to be followed with a re blueing when the budget permits. There's just something about taking a .303 out in the woods.

You've got a lot of work ahead of you to scope that gun. You'd likely be farther ahead to look for a gun that's already scoped and put it in that stock. Your barrelled action looks to be unmodified and you might even find someone who will swap straight up.

Probably good advice and beautiful stock btw
