Finally picked up my TT33 after oh lets say a month and a half transfer time and even then only because I called and complained....

Anyway I need some ammo and I see a few places have it in stock like SFRC and Frontier but I was wondering who else has it as well. Decent shipping costs is mostly what I'm going for as if you'll pan your eyes to the left you'll see my location is not in the provinces(since most seem to miss that detail...). Also if anyone has any experience shipping ammo north let me know as I've never ordered online before as there isn't any ground shipping options to up here from what I gather.
 
Tradex has both 1000 round lots and 2280 round cases for sale, with shipping included in the price. You may pay some extra because of your location, though. Give Anthony a call, he has always been great to deal with for me and their prices are usually the best around.

4- We also need a copy of your PAL for ammunition purchases. Ammunition will be shipped via UPS at surprisingly low rates. Unfortunately, we can not ship ammo to P.O. Boxes, Yukon or NWT (or other remote locations) as we can only use ground service.

What was shipping like on that? Decent, painful, or butt rape with blood for lube?
 
Does anyone have any other suggestions on who has ammunition in stock? So far Frontier will ship for a cost of $262, Tradex won't, and SFRC won't. Waiting to hear back from Wanstalls and The utimate hunting store as I just sent them an e-mail today.
 
So I've tried the following places:

Tradex: won't ship
Frontier: $262 shipping
Budget shooter: doesn't have crates
SFRC: won't ship
Wanstalls: out of stock
P&D: doesn't have surplus just more expensive stuff
Ultimate hunting store: gave me a crate price but no shipping cost...guess I could harass them some more but kind of skeptical

Any other suggestions? I've been looking around a lot online and given this lack of ammunition availability I'm either going to have to sit and wait with the hope of finding some as places restock or else sell this gun unfired(by me...russian surplus) which I'd rather not do as I ordered in a few more mags and main spring for it while waiting on the transfer(was supposed to get a barrel and bushing too but they were out).
 
Bought mine 7.62x25 from SFRC,great service and this is 2 time Im buying 2280 rds, but this time had lots of misfires bad primers i guess.The funniest thing is that my 1 box of 7.62 x25 was the same origin Czech, same period 50"s and was ok just bought more to have- heard rumors that such ammo are scarce? Is anybody can say something about misfires?

I'm getting roughly 3% misfires.
 
I find about 10 boxes in a crate of Czech with the silver bullets (lol), and that some of them FTF. However, if I pull the hammer back, they will fire. Have only had 2 or 3 in two full cases FTF so far.

Thanks, just sent them an e-mail for a shipping quote. They say in the FAQ a minimum charge of $40 for 1000rnds of ammo shipped, but here is hoping for a decent price.
 
Well Lever arms looks like it might be the winner. $375 per crate plus $85 shipping to Whitehorse or else $100 shipping to my home address which would require me to pick up in Whitehorse anyway...

Still getting some is better than not I guess as the eta for it to arrive in town is completely unknown. Wish I didn't have to pay shipping but c'est la vie if I don't want to wait. Still it works out to like $0.19-0.20/rnd so it's not terrible by any means as it's still cheaper than 9mm factory ammo.
