Just a video link of what I experienced at the range the day after I had my VZ 58 returned to me from North Sylva after over 4 months of work to fix the FTF and FTE problems, which I was told there were none.

Basically I am frustrated about purchasing a rifle it had loads of problems (FTE and FTF), I send it away to get fixed where I am told there is no problem... this whole process takes like 4+ months I get it back and the problems are still there and to top it off I get "it is the ammo I am using", which is complete BS...

I am now waiting for a batch of Sellier & Bellot 5.56x45 55gr as SFRC have told me this is what was used to test fire this rifle and it works... so once that comes I will make another video.

I am posting this on both SFRC and NS forums because really it is either pass the buck!

Oh I was experiencing the exact same problems f4om NS with my compact 7.62x39 rifle. I havent tested it out yet since after warranty but they gave me the exact same excuse, "its the ammo" or "its the weather"!?!?!?
Really dont know how the fawk the come to those conclusions but if my is still crap AFTER the supposed warranty, I will be getting ahold of CSA directly and tell them how warranties have been handled for their rifles here in Canada!!!!!

W...T...F... that is completely messed. Not even my first-gen MK22 was that bad.

I can't see how they can blame your ammo when the bullet is being pushed way down into the neck of the cartridge when you load it. Probably a good thing those rounds didn't go off -- they'd probably be WAY higher pressure than they should be.

The multiple-slam-fire was icing on the cake. Usually you have to buy off the black market to get that functionality. :p :(

Man that is not good!

Are you not concerned about ejecting those misfired rounds so quickly. Looks like the firing pin is hitting the primer on a few at least.

I hope you can get that sorted out.

Mine in 223 have been fine with black box AE ammo. They were from older batches. I don't think I would fire norinco 5.56 because I'm not sure they all even have 5.56 chambers

Have you checked out the firing pin or the striker

Well firstly I sent it to North Sylva to get fixed and they told me there was no problems with the firing pin.... but after this shoot I stripped and cleaned the rifle and the firing pin looks off.... I compared it with a CZ 858 bolt and firing pin( which fires flawlessly. I am no expert that's why I sent it back after only having it a few days.

You can buy this GEN 2 magwell adaptor and install it your self... its very easy. Although if you have a very early version of the VZ 58 you will need to have the rifle milled first.

I didn't ask you how to install it, I asked you who installed it. I have seen those magwells cause a lot of feeding issues, that's why I asked. Doesn't explain the light primer strikes tho unless the bolt is not fully closing. The first thing I would do is rip it off and try without it tho.

Dude mine isdoing the same thing as ur s minus the slam fires. I cant evennget mine to chamber a round. Yet its 5he weather!!!!

This is such bull####. These are based on military rifles and should fire pretty damn well anywhere in any weather.

I would have lost it if someone told me this.

Is it too much to ask for a functioning rifle?

Agreed about the feeding issues. Try without the magwell and see if it reduces the failure rate.
