When bought used in excellent shape for a good deal ;-) these are totally worth it! I realize it's a gimmick and shouldn't have been marketed as a home defense shotgun but what a load of fun! I wouldn't hesitate to use it as a bear defense shotgun but that's for another thread LMAO

Excuse me but I don't want to sound to intrusive in your conversation.
Although I was wondering if the bottom rail was removable?

You are not being intrusive at all. Very refreshing to see such a polite poster. :D The top and bottom rails are removable. The bottom rail does not interfere with shooting like the railed forends on pump shotguns that cut up your hands. If you wanted to remove it for cosmetic reasons it's just three bolts.

have you had problem with sliding shell holder?
i got one on my mossberg and it always move foward, kind of dangerous because it can get in the way of the rear grip.

nice look between.

Moves ever so slightly but never a problem. I used to have it on a Mossberg pump for a while as well. I think the hole for the protruding sling mount helps. Some outdoor high strength double stick tape would do the trick if it ever became a problem. I have a side saddle on one of my shotguns that has been held on only with the high strength outdoor double stick tape for years now. You can even carry the shotgun by the side saddle. They sell the tape at Canadian Tire as well. Hehehe.

I have a stoeger coachgun... Same gun with wood/stainless instead of black/rails. It's a cool little gun but if they're trying to market as a defense gun then maybe they shoulda got ridda the automatic safety...

I like the old double trigger SxS for blasting off both barrels at once . That is a cute little gun although with all that rail and this being CGN I was expecting an eotech, forward vertical grip/ light and a bipod for those long range shots. Lol thank you for leaving this gun just a little tacticool and not too overdone.

Hey Chris, are the upper and lower rails connected via tapping the weld or barrel joining connections? I am thinking about a used regular coach and tapping it for some rail additions for the heck of it, and refinishing the wood to camo.....

He was saying he doesn't know about it being a home D gun... well in the US with all that rail.. exactly... little holo red dot up top, laser / flashlight combo down low up front with a vertical foregrip to make shooting from the hip easier and you're set!
