Was out hanging a stand and my Vortex Vulture 12x50 binos fell, hit a rock and the side of one ens took some major damage. I sent them out yesterday July 18th. I will keep you posted on how long it takes to get them back and if the fix them or replace them with the new Vulture HD's, seeing as my pair are no longer made. This is my first time dealing with them and their warranty states that it is "no fault"...we will see.

Cheers!!

I have heard of them looking after stuff like this and upgrading old product for new in some cases. Mostly from the guy trying to sell me a pair. If the rumors are true, Vortex will be the next pair of binos I get. Maybe even try a rifle scope.

They fell,eh? I wonder how many others will be needing "warranty" if they upgrade you to the HD's. :D

He's too busy using his repaired binoculars lol. But seriously vortex warranty is the best in the business

I had a vortex HS scope sent back for warranty and they were great to deal with. They even called me to give me updates on what was happening and when I should recieve my scope back, in total it took about a month to get back as the had to send it to the USA to fix it. Couldn't be happier with there service

Being a LONG time now - did you send them to BUSHNELL by mistake ? :D LOL RJ

Ha ha...forgot all about this thread. I have to say that Vortex did an excellent job. I had about 3 weeks from the day I sent them to the day I had them returned repaired. They also fixed one loose eye cup and through in a new hat for my troubles. A++ service.

That is good to hear. I bought a pair of Nikon Bino's several years back and the eye cup broke right away. I also noted that the objective on one side was slightly oval shaped right out of the box like it was bent a bit or something and attached a note to have them look at that as well. They sent my Bino's back saying I dropped them ( I did not) and they were not going to do anything for me. The eye cups break on a regular basis and I can say that these are my first and last pair of Nikons.

I don't own any Vortex products but am pleased to hear they understand what customer service is.

vortex warranty states repaired or replaced for any reason but they also have a note that say intentional damage will not be covered...how do they monitor accidental as compared to intentional damage???

I'm considering my first Vortex riflescope purchase. Met several workers out in the bush that really like their products. Although I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Leupold man, I'm willing to try a Vortex on a new incoming predator rifle.
