I ordered a set of SPd clear acrylic grips, I, actually really looking forward to the, thinking of what funky pictures to put on them.
Initially it was about MLP, but knowing you can get clear grips, I might make a Dead Space themed 1911, and I might get 2 more sets - one with each pony on one side for my other 3 1911s.
Heck, I might order a few more CanAm combo deals just for fun... I just wish the rear sights weren't so jagged. I keep mangling my hand everytime I do reload drills.
I just ordered them from the states yesterday, will follow up if the threads not locked, when they come in.

Although I have seriously differing views on what I personally like, I also think it's unfair to tar & feather a person on thier own personal taste in TV shows. Yes, as a dad I spent countless hours watching bugs bunny cartoons with my two then, much younger daughters and enjoyed my quality time with them, on many a very early Saturday morning. Later on it was ninja turtles, and boy I had to be conversant on what was new with leonardo, etc, etc, etc.......merely to hold a two way communication with my growing children. If I appeared interested and informed, my children most likely appreciated the fact that we could relate to one another on a personal level. It's part of being a caring parent, really.
Until I hear/see that harble is some kind of monster (which I highly doubt) why be so hard on him?
We don't have to post here. Each of us have the option to do otherwise.
In the clear light of day, I see a guy with differing tastes then myself, that is all.
PS: Yeah, I was one of those that sometimes made snide remarks about this subject. Maybe no more huh?

Saw this guy driving around the other day.
It's like dying you hair orange, just a phase some 1911s go through, pushing their boundaries and so on. It's not like a tattoo or an engraving that will follow them for the rest of their lives. A "rubber" phase is also common.
Many 1911's experiment with different orientations, it is just a natural form of rebellion, like hanging out with Glocks. It's too easy to blame the parents, I'm sure harbl does his best. So be easy about it.
