Change the Desert Eagle back to 44, you'll actually be able to afford to shoot it, and it makes for a really nice 44 mag platform if you put the trigger time in.
They are big and cumbersome, but they do have a fixed long barrel and the sight radius to go along with that. It's radius is actually longer then my 6" S&W.
For this reason, if you learn to shoot it well, it can prove to be very accurate.
Sometimes I wish my D'Eagle was a 357 so I could get even more trigger time with it.

Is #2 a typo ? Do you mean a 357 S&W ?

I've actually shot a 357 DE, and I have to say it was my favorite caliber for that gun - with maximum loads it still feels like you're shooting target 38 wadcutters, very cool.

No single action? Make sure you at least shoot one, to me, they are a great pistol, just feels right in the hand.

single action in pistol ? if you meant single action in Revolver, yes they are nice gun no argue, but to much time to load and reload for me, this is why I've bought a SW17 instead of the Ruger single six (which is a real nice and solid revolver...).
