Rabbit in SW Ontario? Specifically Guelph/KW/Wellington County area?

Does anyone know any areas I can hunt rabbit in my area? I live in Guelph, and in my neighborhood I see 5-6 rabbits a day, and they destroy my vegetable garden every year. I finally have my hunting license and small game license, and it's time for payback. But I don't know anywhere around here to go.

Lots of farm fields in the area....I suppose I should start knocking on doors when the season is about to start. But any other suggestions are welcome.

If I could shoot within city limits I would never have to buy meat again, there are so many in my neighborhood.

If you're willing to drive to my area (20 minutes SW of brantford) I'd be glad to take you out on a hunt with my hound. We usually see enough that I pick and choose my shots...

best to hunt when snow is around, can track if there is trails from them.
