Who are you guys price matching to get the deal at $359???

Missed the deal when the website went down... Ugh

And here I thought you guys lived on this forum. I am sure #1BCshooter will PM you the details. I can't just hand you $50 on a plate ;)

Oh, I pm'd him, he didn't reply... I then pm'd another member, no reply either... I guess nobody likes me...

Closest I could find online was $369/crate of 1040. Free shipping too. If there is a store selling it for $359, it's elusive.

The competition that I found with a $369 for 1040 rounds deal, has a projectile weight of 147 grains... CanadaAmmo lists their ammo as having a 145 grain pill...

As far as I can see, this doesn't meet their price match policy, as the ammo is not the same...

Sounds like the one I found.

Is this 7.62X51 norinco ammo really the exact same stuff that's listed as PRC .308 elsewhere? Just curious if it's apples to apples or what? I thought 308 and 7.62 were close but slightly different. Are they identical specs when coming from China?

Just trying to sort out what's best since I actually have a .308 chambered BLR, not a rifle chambered in 7.62.

Thanks!

Anyone fire this Norinco 7.62x51 in a Browning BLR .308?

I know it's supposed to be okay to go that way, just wondering if anyone has experience on how it behaves?

Thanks.

A guy at the range tried one of mine in his gun and the empty after the extractor tore the rim would not come out. It did come out but after it cooled???

I am nterested in ordering some of the 7.62 Nato -- how long does it take to ship these days from the time the order is placed?

Than ks,

Grey

I also ordered a case of 1600 rounds of the 223 ammo, the timeline for it has been;
Placed the order on the 9th
Payment processed on the 12th
Ammo shipped on the 22nd
Waiting on delivery.

IMHO, you can't beat the prices CanAm offers, so the wait is well worth it to me!

Just confirmed with the price match, it was 377.95 taxes in with FREE shipping for 1000 rounds of 7.62x51 non-corrosive!!!

CanAm, you ROCK!!! (And you're making me poor!!! HA HA HA)

Cheers
Jay
P.S. Please don't offer ANY more deals until the T97 rifles land... And PLEASE don't offer an ammo rifle deal with the T97 rifles or I will be EVEN POORER!!!

What's the point of ordering at CanAm with a risk of the price match not being honored (it happened to me on a different ammo) while the competitor include Free-Shipping as well ?

First, a simple 2 minute call to CanAm & I was told what the invoice total was on my order, and it included the price match. And second...

Taxes... Simply put, taxes... I certainly pay enough of them... And ordering from CanAm means just GST in BC, not the HST in Ontario... In fact, in the last couple weeks I have ordered 1600 rounds of 223 and 1000 rounds of 308, with a 'rough' savings of $80 to me in taxes because I bought them from BC...
