Mannlicher 6.5x54

Original Mannlicher Schoenauer 03's, both fullstock and half-stock, show up once in a while here and at the odd gunshow.
Steyr Mannlicher made a limited run of rifles chambered in 6.5x54. There were rifles chambered for that cartridge on Krag actions as well.
I have an 03 fullstock.
 
Goof luck in finding one in a carbine, but rifles come up once in awhile real reasonable Here on the EE!
I have an 1903 carbine with Lyman peep a cloverleaf shooter with 160 gr hornady SP bullets!

I have a 6.5 x54mm , looks the same as the photo above, except no sling mounts.
dont think it was shot much as ammo is extremely hard to find. finally found some last week, will finally get to shoot it as soon as it arrives for the first time in 15 years.
 
Ammo can be hard to find, but if you attend gun shows it always seems to turn up on the tables.
I reload for mine but its mostly all brass found at the shows over the years...
