Because it's still almost 5K and appeals to a niche market of buyers?

It's a kickass rifle, but the number of people on this site who would ever buy one probably numbers a few dozen. The number ready to buy right NOW can probably be counted on one hand.

~5% discount is not exactly earth shattering, it will probably sit for another couple hundred down, or at least until people can convince themselves that they have saved the taxes. :p

Still, good on Wanstalls for these things, we appreciate them (even with guns we can't afford!)
 
To this day, I regret selling mine in .300WM. (and I let it go cheap, because, as charelsquik said, 95% can't afford it, so I had to drop the price to sell it).

If someone has the cash, buy it, you will never regret it. This gun is a thing of beauty.
