Sub 2000 in 9mm using .40cal mags question.

I'm curious to know if anyone with a sub 2000 in 9mm has tried out some .40cal mags in them for the few extra rounds? Did it function well?

I haven't tried it in my Sig S2k, but I see no reason why 14rds in my 40 mag will work in my 226 and not in my S2k that takes Sig mags... yet to try it but I don't foresee any problems.

.40 s&w magazines work in your 9mm p226?
I tried that on my p226 and the .40 s&w magazine will not hold the 9mm ammo... The opening is too wide to hold down 9mm

I tried that on my p226 and the .40 s&w magazine will not hold the 9mm ammo... The opening is too wide to hold down 9mm

MecGar mags don't work. Checkmate Mags DO! I posted a vid before...

My friend shooting a factory Checkmate 40cal mag in my 9mm 226 (should work in my S2K Sig too). I don't have the mag anymore, sold it with my X-Change Kit :

I've got a couple of beretta 96 mags for my 9mm sub-2000, they seem to have a stiffer spring than the 92 magazine that came with it, but they function.

I know that they do. However i already own a beretta 90-two so i already have the Beretta 96 mags.

Thinking of getting a Sub 2000. I like the idea of using the .40 cal mags. Is it only on the Beretta & Sig models this works? (not the Glock 40 mags)
