After 2 months of waiting, my first handgun finally arrived!

Can't shoot it till the weekend, so I'm shooting my camera till then.

(In all pics, the firearms have been cleared and PROVEd safe). :)

Wow, she is beautiful! Have you named her yet?

Do you know what the difference is between this one and the MK25 Navy edition?

$879... and you got E2 grips with it? Cabela's has pretty good prices on certain items. Do you have Night Sights or the basic contrast sights?

Sig 226 is my favourite pistol for 9mm. Ditto on the MecGar mags, but there is nothing wrong with the Checkmate mags you have.

From what I've read, MK25 is parkerized throughout for corrosion protection, got a cool gold anchor on the slide and the rail is a true 1913 picatinny rail.

Awesome! Congrats! I love my Sig P226. I bought mine in 22LR and bought the 9mm conversion kit for it.

From Cabela's I believe they are just contrast sights. OP you'll love it, it's by far my favourite ever pistol.

A mag in... Think about the babies and the bambies...
Just kidding! Congrat on your purchase.
Get some mecgar mags as extra mags

It's a very hard decision on buying a Sig 226, for myself anyways because there are so many really nice ones to choose from. I personally want the all stainless steel 226 elite. More money but my collection is leaning more to the stainless side. I love the E2 grips having smaller to medium sized hands and am wondering if they can be installed on other model sig pistols?
