Is powder still in short supply?

Sporteque got a bunch of powders in stock now... TiteGroup, Universal, H110, Benchmark, Unique etc. Looks like powder might be starting to hit the shelves. Just no Varget! :p

Other things I use are cheaper. Herco as well as all the Reloder series from Alliant are $122 for 8lb, Promo for $99 for 8lb.

I just picked up a bunch yesterday and will get a bunch more next week.

OK, you have to let us know which retailer is selling them for these prices, otherwise I call BS.

Fair enough, I was rude.. however so is teasing like coreyd is! Nobody likes that spoiled kid on the schoolyard :p Cheapest I can find varget online is Hummason's in Ancaster, but its $170 per 8 lb, have never seen as low as $160. Might as well get the word out there and encourage some competition among retailers. After they can get stock that is.

Has Hummason gotten their powder shipment in yet for the year? I talked to them not too long ago and they still hadn't gotten it in yet. But there is a place with a cheaper online posted price than that. Anyhow, for those who know about the Emmett situation, the place close to Hummason, that I buy from has apparently bought all the stuff taken from Emmett's place.

I called Hummason's yesterday and they said they'd were expecting a powder shipment next week on the 15th.
 
I was at Cabela's the other day and I would have taken ANY powder suitable for 9mm, and they didn't have anything. Tough on a lot of the Hodgdon stuff.
 
I saw this coming some time ago... So I bought 4 or 5 pds of everything I use. I think I have 10 pds of TAC... Awesome stuff... Anyway, it has made me use other powders, and while its more money go get some Vhitavouri. Wholesale carries it and because of price it's usually there. I guess because it doesn't come from the US we get our normal supply? It's also excellent powder. It's time to compromise a bit, but look at it like an adventure in experimentation. Maybe you'll find a gem like I did with 7828SSC.
