Hey guys,
Was hunting in salt water last winter, and after cleaning my gun up, forgot to remove the choke.
Seems like it's stuck in the barrell, bent my wrench trying to remove it.
It's an invector choke in my browning gold hunter...
Anyone have any suggestions on how to remove it? I was thinking of taking the torch to it, but it will ruin my camo.
Thanks

"...stuck in the barrel..." That's called rust. Oil in a cup is a good idea. However, the threads may be damaged enough to need re-cutting.

Sometimes a little heat ( think hair drier not torch) and some light tapping with a rubber mallet will help the oil penetrate. Kroil as mentioned is your friend as is patience.

I had the same problem, used heat and soaked it in oil. The only thing I got out of it was a bent wrench. What you need is the Loctite Freeze and Release and a good wrench not a cheap two sided one. This stuff works great, I sprayed it on the chock it self for about 15 seconds and it came out no problem.
