CT in Abbotsford, BC

WTF .

Stopped by the Canadian Tire store in Abbotsford this morning and strolled past the ammo display and what do I see? .40 S&W, 9mm Luger and .38 Special ammo along with 1000 round cartons of Winchester M22. Picked up one carton of the M22 and the clerk mentioned they will soon be stocking real rifles. I don't recall the last time I've seen pistol ammo and firearms in a lower mainland CT. Things are looking up.

There are so many cross over rifles using pistol now... SUB2000, JustRight Carbines, Winchester 1892 to name a few of them... so those to me are also rifle ammo

Yep, just haven't seen those particular cartridges in said location before today.

Walmart on 80th in central surrey and lots of ammo too, boxes of 100 rd target loads for $34

The 1K cartons were .22 LR, not 9mm.

I noticed this too. Prices weren't horrible for the Valley: around $16.99 for 9mm, $22.99 for .40 S&W,
something like $24/26 for .38 Special and hi $20s or low $30s for a box of .45 ACP iirc.

Not as well priced as Budget Shooter Supply but closer than Langley... IF you needed it.
