canada ammo

That said, my last two Canpar experiences have lead me to not be willing to order anything that will be shipped by them. It's being looked into, so I'll have to follow up on that...

What? Huh?

If you don't like car par, all you do is request shipping by Canada post in the comments of your order, and they change the carrier, rem to add reason why as well. I'm sure it cost them almost double to ship with Canada post compared to can par.

I bought a TAVOR from port perry, On and they shipped it with Canada post for $90 bucks to vancouver area. Now that's expensive and it's like 9-10 days to delivery as well. I has a shot gun delivered from TO to vancouver as well and was $25 bucks with UPS ground sfrc. Sorry getting off topic :HR:

No ammo via Canada Post. It's a rule.

What Kennymo said; no ammo through CanPost.

Which is a large part of what I buy... It is a GREAT deal to be able to get a 50lb crate of surplus munitions shipped for free. If you live in an area where Canpar actually delivers, and you don't travel for work (and thus can have it delivered whenever), then Canpar works fine...

I will probably go back to ordering ammo through SFRC, unless Canpar changes.

I thought it was just a decorative gimmick until I read a post about a pen and then realized what was up.. Once my wife finished that crocheting project, something in my head clicked and I couldn't resist :D

Haha I didn't realize it was a pen until right now... Cool

I just received my Norinco .223 5.56ammo,crate of 1120 for a total of 292.00.It came to work the boys could'nt believe you could buy that much ammo for that money and it did take 2 1/2 weeks which is no big deal.Hats off to Canam.

maybe the delay in shipping is there thing, you forget you orderd it and then the can par guy calls you at work to brighten your day!!! and i dont know much about the company but is as if one guy is running the whole show, emailed me at late hours and always sent one back, i cant say to many other stores that have been that happy with. and if i have to wait 21/2 weeks then hey no big deal , I havent run out of ammo yet !!!!

The shipping isn't really free.

Their prices are around 3 bucks a box more then most other places. You pay for the shipping.....it's just hidden in the prices.

Shipping isn't free if you're only buying a couple of boxes. The big deals are on the bulk, I can't find cheaper cases of surplus SHIPPED anywhere.

My point is......9mm AE is 18.99 a box from CanAmmo

Its 16.49 a box from SFRC. So if I buy 20 boxes ( 1000rds) i'm paying 50 bucks more to get free shipping from CanAmmo. And SFRC is just the 1st place I checked.

The thing about it being hidden in the price, is that you know the exact cost of your purchase, to your door.
On-line site and ordering, is second to none, IMO. Maybe lots of out-of stock items, but that's non uncommon.
And many of us ordering from CanadaAmmo, have enough toys, that the waiting time is unnoticable.
Just pleasantly surprized when it does arrive. First time buyers are understanderably antsy.

I ordered 4 crates of .223 for $279.00/crate 2 weeks ago.
The order was shipped on Monday and I will be receiving it in Montreal next Friday for a total of 11 days in transit from Bc. To Qc.

I really don't care if it takes 3 weeks to receive my order since I have plenty of other ammo to shoot.

:( Not Free! That is not making my reality any nicer. I was secure in the thought that I was getting a good deal until your post! Free shipping is like the icing on the cake and you just served up a bunch of cake with no icing :(

My last 4 crates of Czech came from 2 different vendors, one where I had to pay $35.00 extra per crate on a free shipping with conditions deal and the other through CanAmmo where it came to my door without shipping costs. All the crates were the same price so in effect, I did get free shipping on that specific type of ammo :)

Free shipping is nice, unless the costs are hidden
