I recently came across a Ugly little gun, a .22 semi-auto manufactured in West Germany by J.G. Landmann.
Anyone know anything about these guns???
It has a 15 round mag and a 213mm barrel with an extension at the end.
It was manufactured with a 1/2" base to mount a scope.
It appears to be an early backpack version of an AR-7.
I am going to try it out this weekend.

Cool, kind of reminds me of a Thompson submachine gun... All you need is a pistol grip and you're good to go.

Looks cool though, I'm curious to hear a range report. Certainly something you don't see every day.

That is the next thing I want to see from Norinco or some other forward thinking company. I bet they could sell them by the thousands. A 22 mag would be great as well.

If its rimfire and manufactured with a short barrel 26" overall is all that matters.

My 10-22 has a 9" barrel and is 26.25" and non restricted.

Overall length w/o extension needs to be 26" I think.

Extensions count towards OAL but do not count towards barrel length. As long as it is 26" from tip to toe you are good to go.
