Does anyone know if any of the usual suspects asked companies like beta and x products into labelling some of their drums with .50 beo and pinning them for that making the mags worth their $200 price tag?

Really? So you think a beta mag that's pinned to hold 5 rounds of .50 (15rds of .223) is worth $200. Let me guess, your one of the guys that was buying the $150 Pmags a few months ago, right?

P.S. If your looking for a stripped lower, I've got an Aero Precision lower I'd let go for a mere $350 if your interested.

They will be worth the $200 pricetag when we can put 100 rounds in them. Until then why bother?
You can buy a heck of a lot of pmags or LAR mags for that money and learning to swap mags quickly is a good skill to practice.
Instead ask the government how limiting mag capacity makes anyone safer and if they actually think a criminal is going to leave the rivet in his mag in fear of breaking the law before he goes out and breaks the law using a firearm committing a crime?
It really is stupid and does nothing to increase public safety.

I like my c mag. and they are more like $300. I was just lucky to get mine as a door crasher for $200.

if you wanna know the answer write Beta and ask them.

I don't think Beo is compatible with the beta mags. These mags exploit the double stack properties of the AR mag to split each side of the stack into it's own drum. The Beo rounds sit in the mag as a single stack and would probably would not fit in a drum mag.

That and, none of these companies care much about special labeling cause their target demographic down south don't need to use special labeled mags.

They are coming down in price. Wolverine has them listed for $200 and I've seen them at a couple other places for a little more.
Other than looks I really son't see any point in having one. "Look at my huge, bulky 5 round magazine doesn't it look cool?"
For $200 I can buy 10 pmags and hold 50 rounds and if we ever get rid of these silly mag restriction laws that will turn into 300 rounds loaded and ready to go.
If we ever do get rid of the mag restrictions I will probably buy one of these but until then it makes no sense to me.

What kind of brake is that? It's huge! Is that a 14" barrel.
Nice AR :)

wolverine has the KCI C-mag. the Beta mags are a little more.
i like the C-mag cuz it looks cool. also the way it feels when you handle the gun. its like having a little SAW.
when i take my guns to the range i just use the little norc 5 rounders. i find they work the best and don't get in the way at all.

i have an AK-74 brake on a 10.5. if you shoot 10.5 or less you cant fool around with different brakes. there is so much blast and sound you need to go with what works.

I've found that if you use a brake on anything less than a 14.5 inch there is just too much concussion and it is uncomfortable to shoot. I just removed my Rainier Arms mini comp from my 12.5 inch and installed an Allen Gunworks linear comp. It was just too much for me and the guys next to me at the range.

I paid around 200 ish for my Beowulfs , It is what it is. I would avoid paying that price if the supply met the demand. I dont regret buying them because my Canadian shooting experiences are much more enhanced compared to what It was with out.

what he said..... it's quite dumb to belive that criminals will use 5 round mags just like the law allows.
It just prevents people like us from having fun at the range with 30 round mags.
I hope that one day I can legally use 30 round mags at the range, I would love to try it if it's legal one day.
