I feel it is remiss......IPSC Ontario Shotgun Provincials

Sam Elliott is rarely on CGN, and even more rarely posts, so I thought I would point out that the IPSC Ontario Provincial Shotgun Championships are taking place at EESA this weekend. There are still a few spots available if someone were so inclined to participate......I have extra gear and guns if someone needs or wants to play!

Close...its when you miss and there is a stage malfunction...the shooter is given another opportunity to miss all over again

Well after all the problems with the 870 today during the preshoot, I'm definitely upgrading at the end of the month! Methinks it's Benelli time...

Good fun had by all. Can't wait for next year's!

Don't be knockin the 870. Mine ran fine as usual the only thing malfunctioning was me.

I had several failures to extract. Also the extension i'm using has a bit of a weak spring so sometimes the supposedly "no jam" (HA!) S&J follower hangs up (not the fault of the gun though). Plus I would rather something with a more user friendly lifter.

Another thanks to my fellow competitor who lent me his back up gun when my 870 crapped out after the second stage.

That's it, I am finished with 870's! No more. Benelli, here I come.
