I wouldn't touch a NEA until quality improved and they were made to spec so they fit all other AR components.
Even if quality improved I'm still not sure I'd give them my money.

Honestly I can't blame you for thinking that. When starting a business producing such critical parts. Quality should never have been an issue.

Are their parts made out of spec? I just picked up a stripped lower and will be attaching it to a Norinco upper. I'm hoping that these two cheaper brands will fit together!

Many, many complaints about alignment issues. My favourite one is when the holes are out of spec for the takedown pins and people say to give them a smack with a hammer, they'll eventually wear in. Every quality AR I have ever laid hands on had the take down pins slide in and out by hand. I just completed a build with Stag upper and lowers, the pins slide in smooth as silk with no sloppiness or wobble.
Cheap is cheap for a reason.
Thanks for the reply. I guess I will have to see how it goes once all my parts are here. I'm looking to do a cheap build as my first, so I expect some bumps a long the way. As long as everything will eventually work I am happy haha

IMO most new to AR shooters are better served by $1000-1200 factory rifles with a warranty.
They typically work better than low end cobbled together parts guns.

I'm sure they do work better, but I'm looking forward to building something from parts. If It does not work out, well I'm richer from the experience and I can sell it off in pieces and buy something more appropriate later on. But now I'm looking for a challenging project and I'm sure this will be it!

Really no point in buying a totally stripped upper.. The FA is a ##### to assemble and it never gets used - and the ejection port cover is like 10$? Haha. CTCS has Aero Precision uppers in stock and AP is top notch.
