I'm bare a$$ new to black rifles so am looking for some advice. What would you consider a really good deal on Swiss Arms Black Arms Carbine (14") in excellent condition?
There is a reclassification issue going on with the Swiss Arms rifle. I reccomend you do some research before purchasing.

Thanks for the info everyone. As for the reclassification, thanks for the head's up, this one is a carbine so it's already restricted. Now, if they try and reclassify my Robarm XCR-M, then I'll start to worry![]()

Just buy one. And enjoy the time you have with it.
So, what would distinguish the SA Carbine then from other 14" barrel platforms that would catch there attention? ie: why would this be any more evil than a shorty AR or other close quarters platform?
Just out of curiousity, what leads us to believe they would confiscate reclassified prohibs vs. grandfathering in the owners?

Not really a good idea considering the price tag
Strength in numbers. More people should buy them. All of our black rifles are one stroke of a pen away from being banned. I figure we've got two more years with them being somewhat safe with the current govt. but what has happened in terms of reclassification on the CPC's watch is disheartening. So if you want a Swiss Arms, but one and enjoy it. You may look back a few years from now and regret not buying one.
