Not nearly as nice as some that I've seen but I like it. The finish was supposed to come out lighter...aw well.





 
Cant see the hard work you put into the stock, what's with the Scarf,Headgear,Handkerchief?,
does your girlfriend approve of your hobby?

Almost missed it but you have the same stock extension as me (picture three), very smart guy, now you have
a comfortable SKS to spend time with. Enjoy the the results of your effort and energy. Best piece of
kit I bought for my SKS.

Lol. Im not a great photographer and I tried to do one of those fancy pictures...lol.

Yeah got the extension. Really comfortable. I think its utg? Not sure. And yes, my gf approuves. She likes shooting as much as I do. Lol
 
I try to remain humble. Lol.
So much to know and learn and its all thanks to this forum. Ive learned a lot and I have a specific budget since I a condo to pay and my gf is still in school. Lol.
One thing is for sure, I love the sks. Great affordable, well built and tough rifle. Ill never sell it. Hehehe

And she gets flowers here and there. Hehehe
 
I like the look of the Tapco mag. It's really only for that reason I got one on it since they'res not real use for it..lol.

The stock mag works really better. I tried to do the mod so I can use stripper clips with it, but it's not totally right yet. I have to tinker with it a little more.

Hey love the platform, so I'll ask - what do you think of the mag? Is it really 'removable?' Does it work??

Ugh our intrepid sponsors (who I love) sell them three for $129, which is very hard cause a whole other rifle is a few hundred on a good day...

So far, the best I have spent is $7 on a site tool (Thanks Al's)...

Would like to try out those mags without the $130 value-at-risk...
 
Thanks guys. The mag is meh. Lol. Isnt super easy to pull out (on my rifle anyways) and feeding with stripper clips doesnt work so far...ill do a bit more tinkering...well see. Its reliable though, feeds well.

I'd say skip it. Stipper clips are faster anyways....


As for the black bolt and bayo, it came that way. Its a refurb. I plan on perharps duracoating the whole thing. The paint comes off a bit when i clean it with hppes 9...
