I search and did'nt find anything, what is the IPSC definition for single action. I ask since they're is single action pistol in the production division (i.e. Walther PPQ)

There are no "single action only" pistols allowed in Production

I'm not personally familiar with the PPQ...but it looks striker fired to me (not SA)

From the description of the gun on Wikipedia, I am surprised to see it on the list for Production. Unlike the Walther 99QA, whose striker sat at half-#### and was brought to full #### and released by pressing the trigger, this model appears to be at full #### with no rearward movement of the striker when the trigger is pulled. I guess the "authorities" decide the trigger system is a "safe trigger" and allowed it.

From what i understand, the firearms as to have a hammer to be deemed single action. Any striker fire is then eligible, even if they are single action (the Walther PPQ is the DA/SA version P99AS anti stress without the double action.)
