I have one and they are very nice. BUT, in my mind 5 round AR mags are SO old fashioned! When they get the 50 BW version approved, THEN I'll buy a boat load of them!
Phew.
I thought this was another Barcardi thread....
AR mags are a funny thing. I know pistol mags are out there and readily available. And until recently only available in metal and short bodied designs. Now with Alberta Tactical's CAA polymer pistol mags I don't see much reason to shop for LAR pistol mags. Honestly I can't see much reason to buy any metal or polymer AR 5 round rifle mag, except of course maybe a Beowulf mag but supply of those is short.
That all having been said, I still end up collecting AR mags of all sorts. It's as much of a sickness as the gun hobby itself.
Still need to look into these E-Lander mags.
Well yeah, you need to get a couple to try of course! But I won't be buying lots of them in the 5/30's.
The .50 Beowulf mags we got from the factory run .50 Beowulf cartridges fantastically.
People need to recognize that they're steel magazines, not aluminum. They're very robust.
We've had a couple lucky people testing them for the last couple months. So far so good. Now we just have to wait for the RCMP to hurry up and approve them so they can be imported.
IIRC E-Lander is the manufacturer of the IWI mags that ships with all the Tavor coming from Israel, they are really nice.
