A new Matrix bullet for the 9.3 rifles!

Yes, he told me that, but I was waiting for him to publish the technical data. We actually talked about a 72 thou jacket thickness near the base, but evidently the 40 thou will be fine. I want to try a few more, but like you there seem to be only a few days of time to do so. Crazy that one could be retired, and be so busy! :)

Yeah, thickness should do well, the Hawk bullets are 0.030" - 0.035" the thicker (pretty tough bullet) is 0.050"... and they all perform flawlessly.

I'll try to shoot some next week, but..

Well, Boys, we have the new bullet ready to go hunting in the 9.3X57.

Also, going to be trying another new bullet in the 9.3X62, with a specially hardened alloy. Has performed perfectly in water tests, and hope to get to try it on some big critter in a few days. If that doesn't pan out, we will give it a go on a bison this winter.

Well plastic tip bullets are far superior to any round nose that I know of but to each his own i guess. I just prefer only shooting an animal once.

Well, we are back, and the new Matrix chopped up two or three big neck vertebrae on a moose that was running flat out and more than quartering away. Needless to say he went down in a heap.

My hunting buddy was impressed, first of all, with how fast they can run, and secondly, how fast they can pile up. :)
