Talley or Burris Zee are the only way to go. Weavers are outdated and antique.

Well, hoping not to insult you all. The previous scope on this rifle was a Tasco 6-24x42.

that's funny I had a Tasco 6-24x42 mounted with weaver rings on one of my rifles, I like that scope, I think it's a good value. (I want another one for my 17hmr)

It's ok for the price, but for moose and deer hunting it's too much magnification.
