They have shipped from the US and are on the way to Canada...I think they shipped last week. I can get more BUT it will be on the next batch....couple months I think.

Any word from Bushmaster on the factory non-restricted barrels or 6.8SPC conversion kits?

Wanted (by all) bushmaster ACR with Canadian non restricted match grade barrel. Or for that matter include non restricted barrels in both 5.56 as well as 6.8. Seems to me the acr's are all coming into Canada in restricted configuration so as to create a paper trail for when the RCMP decide its too scary to remain non restricted at any barrel length

It's more likely that Shrubmaster hasn't released the new barrel assemblies or 6.8 SPC kits yet.

They haven't. The supplier in BC says the non-restricted 18.6 inch barrels should be here in August or September. Then again...who really knows, right? There have been tons of these restricteds floating around though...

I don't think anyone takes any of Shrubmaster's release dates seriously anymore. But hey, here's hoping...

Everyone is interested in a NR version without having to deal with Questar. Why don't the gun stores just automatically change them into NR acrs before even putting up for sale. They can charge a premium of course for their trouble and parts. I just want to carry it out of the store that same day and not have to deal with bullshiat, is that too much to ask from a customer?

IF they manufacture one with a 18.5bbl why we dont have it here in canada ?

Used, has the Questar 18.6" SS barrel out on by a gunsmith, armacoated black and then de-registered... $3000ish
