cz 455 scope?

Hi all, i just recently bought a cz 455 .22/.17 and Im going to need a good scope that wont break the bank. I'm thinking of staying under $400. Any suggestions?

My 452 hmr is wearing a vortex viper 3-9x40. Perfect scope for me on that gun. My 455 is wearing a nikon 4-12x40. Nowhere near as good of scope as the viper.

I have a few vortex and for the $ they are very nice glass. Warranty if needed is over the counter at my dealer.

Just bought a Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 3-9x40 off EE for my CZ 455 Standard .22LR. Should get it by next week. Will update with the performance.

I never have. Also never bother with parallax adjustable scopes on rimfires anyway. If you are doing some serious target work then I can see the need. All mine are used for hunting or plinking though. When in a good gopher patch not really time to be twisting knobs and turning dials.

Have only one Vortex, a Diamdback 4-12x40 AO. Very good glass, would purchase another in a heartbeat when the need arises. All my scopes are AO even though it takes a little time to focus in the gopher patch. The gophers aren't heading for the next county when you're out there so it's no biggie.

I'll be doing a fair amount of target work, with some gopher hunting when I get the chance. Isn't it easier to shoot 75yards and closer with a rimfire scope because of the parallax issue? This is my first "accurate" rimfire where i'll be mounting a scope, so i'm fairly new to choosing the right glass.

I have this on my 455 varmit

http://whitefalls.ca/Descriptions/APT4.5-14x40mmmb.html nice mil dot and resettable turret knobs.Needs 30mm rings a little harder to get than 1" but still doable.

Phil at white-falls willl treat you well.For punching paper 4/16 is a start but you could go more.

I shoot lots of targets with my 455 as well. I have a prostaff 4-12x40 on it. Parallax is set to 100 yards form the factory. I have no problems shooting very small groups 25 yards and out. Tried out some eley team and it was grouping in the .3" area at 50 yards. That was the first time out with it as well. I will take that anyway imho.

I had an APV 4.5-14x40 on my 452, loved it, gave it to my son last week and should have my APT 4.5-14x40 in the next day or two.

I own 2 Mueller 4.5-14 Tactical scopes . One is on my 1022 KIDD , the other is on my 17 HMR .
Great mildot AO scopes for the money .
