Hunting rig survey! (Cross-post from the Hunting board)

Hey dudes!

I thought it would be cool to do a survey of what rifle brands, calibers, and scope brands and types we all used on our hunting rigs, so I threw a survey together in Google Docs.
That way, we can figure out neat stuff, like what are the most popular calibres in each province? Do lots of people have expensive rifles with crappy scopes? That sorta stuff. Nothing beats hard data!

I'm not using it for nefarious purposes! ;) The results are viewable by anyone, and I don't run a business or anything: I'm just a gun enthusiast newbie.
The only vaguely personal question is optional! (where the rifles are hunted with)

I checked the CGN ToS, and this doesn't seem to be covered. :)
Obviously I'm happy to take this down if I've misinterpreted it.

The results given from CGN would not probably match the results from the general public as many of here are handloaders and like to shoot oddball chamberings.

Example .... I gave the 257Roberts for my fave cartridge, but only know one other fellow here in NB that shoots one. Most folk here by far go with what you can buy a CDN Tire. (30-06, 303, 308, 30-30, 270)

Viewing the results I'd say they're a pretty good indication. Did you check them out?

Not really in disagreement, but observing that there would be some chamberings on that list that would not see much use in the general public.

That's a good idea! I threw it together on a lunch break or I would have put more categories up. :)

I'm actually impressed with Ruger's showing. I thought Ruger would be a much smaller portion of the survey given that I never see them at stores.
 
I have 3 hunting rigs:

Tikka 270 WSM with a Leupold VXII 3X9X40
Rem 700 30-06 with a 6X Burris Fullfield
Win 70 338 WM with a 4X Burris Fullfield

All I've used for the past few seasons is the Tikka, and we mostly hunt the prairie and mountain WMUs in southern Alberta.
