Portuguese 7.62 NATO ammo

I recall reading a long time ago, that the Hirtenberger ammo came in both berdan and boxer primers. Anyone care to shed some light on that?

Can't shed any light on it having both but the last 1500 of the 5 cases I picked up have all been boxer. So far so good ;)
Runs a bit hotter than other ammo I shoot but my krieger barrelled 18.5" m14 loves it.

I should have been more explicit.... Districorp was selling Hirtemberger ammo in the 90's and early 2000's. They no longer exist

Hirtenberger milspec 7.61 x 51 is incredibly accurate ammo. Boxer primed. My M-305 (with a cheap scope mount) would make looney sized groups with this ammo at 100 meters with no flyers. The ejected brass would land in a neat pile about 3 feet away.

The Portuguese is the BEST 7.62x51 surplus I have EVER had. My springfield M1A NM in Troy Chassis absolutely loves this stuff. My first time out after sighting in the scope both I and another shooter were getting 1.25-1.5" groups at 100 yards (prone, bipod, rear mono pod, 22x scope) and I am not a great shot. The Norinco copper washed surplus was doing 3-4" due to flyers. I cant believe I blew off 200 rounds of the portuguese in my M1919 in a few minutes long before I realized how good it was. Doh!
