I'm going to guess that ITAR means I can't get them out of the US...however, if I'm wrong and you can, I would like to know.

Otherwise I'll just hunt around and see what I can find.

All firearm magazines are restricted for export out of the US. An export license is needed.

Canadian retailers should have them in stock. Try the sponsor links above.
 
that's what I suspected. just looked through CGN sponsors, and it doesn't appear anyone has them in stock. just might have to look to Cabela's. :(

I didn't know that magazines are restricted for export, I bought a new mag for my .308 2 weeks ago at cabelas in Michigan. I told customs I had it when I came home and they didn't say anything to me. I always tell customs everything I buy in the states cause I don't want to be flagged or anything. I didn't have any issues at all. Maybe I lucked out?

Importing into Canada is different from Exporting out of the US.
You were illegally exporting them out of the US without the valid exporter paperwork.
