Any of you who know me, know that my tastes run to compact semi-auto rifles chambered for mid-powered cartridges. So, for me, this is a major departure!
I just got this from my dad over the weekend - he's had it rattling around in his truck and trailer for years. He finally decided he "didn't need two rifles" (!), and as he preferred his old .303 Enfield, I got this one.
From my quick research on this gun, it appears to be a 1953 Hungarian M44. It has matching numbers on all parts, "02" stamped on everything, and is actually in pretty good shape. Any idea if these are worth more or less than any other M44? I know squat about those guns, so if anyone knows more, please chime in
