Not with this little gadget haha. I've never seen anything like this before.
I don't shoot far enough to need an additional 150 MOA but this is interesting. It seems you wind up with your scope mounted ridiculously high.

so shooting a 308 with a 100 yard zero what is the MOA out to 1000 yards, too lazy to figure it out,

if it is less than 60 MOA I wonder if they would make a model with less MOA Jeff

When your name is JP, you don't need to worry about bullet drop out to 1000... You just tell the bullets to group 1/8th of an inch in the x-ring. Like a boss!
 
Holy cheek weld or more like neck weld 'cause it'll prob be below your chin! lol That just raised your scope a good inch and a bit above your bore. Maybe handy for the .338Lapua or .50BMG big boys shooting into space?

Thats the third gizmo of that type I've seen. An outfit called Cold Shot makes one, and Ivey adjustable rings have been around for some time. Only issue I wonder about is how close their toerances are, and how "tight" they stay. At the distances where they may be required, like out past a mile, any little bit of play would be enough to matter a great deal.
Haven't done it yet, but measured and have target for a 2600 yd shot at my place. With a 50 minute base and all of the reticle in my scope, I might get there, but was looking at these devises to guarantee it....just wonder.......
To me, the Ivey rings look the best, albeit the most costly........

~32 MOA at our elevation with 20MOA rail.

For that price and gimic, buy a proper rail and scope and be done with it. Why add another variable for things to go wrong or give you issues?

I agree 100%.
I simply wanted to share this because I think its hilarious. It's like the modern version of my vernier sight for my sharps haha.

Yes, it will go further than most people's scope set-up's, but I still think this is goofy. Tacticoooool. Nobody needs it.

Want more range than a decent scope will delivery? Get a 35+MOA rail, zero for a further distance, use hold over for closer ranges. Done.

While I agree that the most likely market is "tacticool" wannabes, there can be legitimate uses. Consider this:

I have a 50 minute base on my rifle. Can't find one with any more slope than that to fit the AR-50. (Yes, could have a custom base built I suppose.) NF scope, with 92 minutes of up available once zeroed at 450 yds.
To get to 2600 yds, I need 123 minutes with my load, by calculation. Have 20 minutes available on the reticle (if memory serves).....only gets me to 112.......so I'd have to hold over (hail Mary) without the target being visible.
With one of these gizmos, I could make it work.......

I still worry though, that the tolerances may not be tight enough to keep repeatability....of course, at that range, might not be able to tell.....bound to be a large group.
 
A custom angle one would cost less. And really, who would want to shoot a 50cal at 450 yards?

While I agree, I still think you can fit in MOST, if not all shooting with a proper set-up prior to going out.

There are a select few it might help, and for 500-600$ you can try. I'd be curious to see the repeatability, but after that I'll stick with a fixed mount!
