HC3R 10/22 Mag with stripper clips

Just ordered 2 of them and extra stripper clips. I'll try remember to post how they work out for me with my 10/22 Takedown

Finally tried mine out tonight. If you watch the video and do what it says they work fantastic. If you don't flip them while holding back spring there are FTF issues. They explain it quite well in the video. The stripper clips work fine but after the initial loading I just reloaded using the thumb spring. I was just as fast if not faster loading it this way. They are so much easier to load than any other 25 round mag. I will definitely be picking up more of these mags.

Spent most of the day at the range today, had a blast. The HC3R magazines performed flawlessly! I had a few failures to feed but it was because I had not seated the bullets properly when loading the magazine (quickly remedied). I tested with CCI Mini Mags 36gr HP and also Federal bulk, both had similar performance in terms of reliability, but the CCI's were much more accurate.

These magazines were super easy and fast to reload.

Just wondering if these magazines could be modified to fit the arcangel nomad stock, cause I ordered too of these mags with my nomad stock didn't realize they wouldn't fit

I picked one up and found that it would fail to eject about every 3rd round using cci mini mags. It would feed and extract every time but the bolt would catch the ejecting brass and sandwich it in the ejection port. I then tried with cci standard velocity and it was flawless. I am new to rimfire, but I believe it has to do with the spring tension on the bolt. I was using a kidd standard weight spring in this case. I have not tried the high velocity or subsonic springs yet, as I just got my build together.

ordered a pair from wanstalls and played with them abit today. very impressed with how they feel and load. havent run them yet, maybe this weekend but they look to be higher quality than anything else ive tried.

I picked up one, extra stripper clips and the speed loader at TnT Gunworks in Regina about a month ago. Personally, I wish I had the hundred bucks back. I've had two loadouts on the magazine work properly, and easily 15 that didn't work worth a crap. On three occasions I got so frustrated with it I tossed it in my bag and went back to Butler Creek for the rest of the day.

They're super fast to load with the stripper clips, but any time you save there is easily eaten up while you #### around trying to get the rounds straight, lined up and properly tensioned. I've done everything EXACTLY the way they say on the websites videos...Nada. When they work, they work wonderfully....the problem for me is, they barely ever work properly.

With over 100,000 units sold in the USA and over 2,000 in Canada there has been very few problems.
Do not hesitate to contact HC Mags directly with your comments as they may be able to resolve your issue.

I have one of these that I bought from International in Surrey.
The first time out I wasn't impressed. The unit didn't quite work as I had hoped. But I kept at it and found a bit of a knack to working with the clip. You need to be firm with the slide release when you load the ammo. I was being gentle with it, and found it jamming if I used hollow points. I spent a little time cleaning the unit along with my 10/22 and just kept working with it.

Fast forward to now and the clip works so well. Loading the insert is easy and fast and I'm back to shooting in no time. I'm planning on grabbing another clip and some more inserts, as I really like how this unit works. Nothing beats the factory Ruger 10 shot in terms of reliability, but this comes really close now. I recommend it to my friends.
