Magpul pumped out the mags.....now no one is buying. LOL
Market is glutted.

Remeber all those retailers saying there won't be any for over a year.
The same ones that still charge $27 hahah

You can find cases of 100 pmags for $1000.
Not the $5000 plus 8 months ago.

Don't forget that is retail price. They are still making money on that.

Maybe one of these storws can let us know how a $10 mag ends up $27.

Time to call IRUNGUNS

I've seen Pmags even cheaper than what Brownell's is selling them for ($8.98 for the MOE M2's)...now as to some stores pricing being higher...I'd be inclined to think that it's passed through a few hands before it got to the retailer or not all profit margins are the same. Internet based retailers will usually be cheaper due to low overhead...but everyone already new this.

Hopefully there will begin to be a surplus on guns, ammo and reloading supplies, soon.
Then we'll all stock up and hoard, creating a vicious circle.:)

It's the fancy $17 rivet or maybe it requires a lot of skill to place the rivet and that's why we pay a premium.

my friend in the states bought 2 fde windowed pmags for 20$ last week. 20$ cheaper per mag vs here and they hold 25 more rounds :p talk about more bang for your buck.

A lot of this was because people were hoarding Mags and then selling them for crazy prices GB for example and now that the market has calmed down the scalpers are dropping there stashes and oversaturating the market. I have more than enough magazines to last me the next 25 years really....Now is the time to get what you need...

Especially in Canada, if Justin Trudeau gets into power you can bet the chances are the FA/Bureaucracy will be reinvigorated and fully charged and we will quickly be on track like back in 99/2000 when things were well under way to going to full bans...

Obama is still in power down South as well and from my observations the left is coming up with better arguments and more convincing material than the way they were before "Newtown" and shortly after that when the first attempt failed largely...Just remember if the US stops going to war??? I think that will slow things down for Pro-gun side as well, you have to keep in mind all the returning Vets are fuelling much of the Black Rifle, small arms trend as that dissipates I see less classes and a downturn in the firearms industry in general.

One key problem or danger for us is if the governments can shut down more of the internet like censorship in china that will stop the firearm resurgence single handily right there. I don't think they can do that outright though unless they can attach it to a successful "terrorist attack" of some kind and draw a connection with information/YouTube/forums etc. being used for free education in weapon tactics related training...The media will push it but I'm not sure they can articulate it to the American audience to actual be able to buy the Kool-Aid...

We will have another storm to face for sure, and the US is still looking like a Hillary/Jeb Bush showdown in 2016 elections and I think the Democrats will win that one, hard to say...If they do they will have several more at bats on us and that will effect the Canadian firearm industry....

That being said for most things out there I would not pay the prices dealers are asking anymore, the prices for Colt M4 for example are way overpriced, I just don't see the reason for these prices in 2013 especially considering most of these companies have little overhead...lol,.
