Introducing our newest chassis: The MDT LSS (Light Sniper System)

I suppose it's a bit late in the game to ask, but the LSS will work with or without a detachable box magazine? If we currently use the regular integral magazine, that can be carried over into the LSS?
It is never too late to ask. But no, your integral magazine would become an detachable box magazine. You will need to purchase the magazine separately.

Also, I see that you have a grip in stock

I would like to confirm if it will work.
That one will not work on the LSS because of the beaver tail. We do have some others in stock that will work.

TAC21, I'm very impressed with the design and concept of keeping it lightweight. MDT has totally thrown a twist into my Remington 700 SPS tactical build... one question that I have, your LSS stock and one of XLR Industries butt stocks http://www.xlrindustries.com/butt-stocks.html mate together? How awesome would that be... One sick set-up.

Out of curiosity: What would be the overall length of the rife shown on the first page? With the CTR buttstock fully collapsed and I assume a 20 inch barrel.

:D You should make a high quality version of these folding stock adapters. I'd buy one with this stock.

Well, if mine arrives within the next several days, I'll have it at NSCC with a barrelled action in it for inspection.....

Is there a flush cup option for the forend?

Tac21- I like the stock- which is rare for me and chassis. They are always so heavy and bulky. No use for my needs. But this one looks very appealing- and much better priced than the Eberle. At roughly 2lbs with a Magpul butt, it is as light as Manner's CF options and lighter than their CF option with integral block. It doesn't beat a McMillan Tactical model with Edge fill (~1.5lbs), but is close enough and offers potential benefits that make up for the 'extra' weight. Well done.

Hey, Tiriaq:

If I get mine (LSS) in the next couple of days, I'll drag it to NSCC to show YOU also. I'm excited to receive this baby soon. Got my carbine tube (commercial) ready to install, the castle nut, the Magpul MOE grip, and the Mapgul STR stock ready to install. Even got my AICS .223 magazines ready to play. :D

We will have fun.

Cheers and keep helping the newbies out there!
