No delays here!!

ordered the 1911 combo (fantastic deal BTW) and it shipped from Vancouver and got to me in eastern Ontario (keep in mind the transfer process was also completed in this time) in 7 days! 8 if you include the holiday that I ordered it on. Absolutely the fastest I've ever received anything in the mail, let alone a pistol! I'm very impressed with Canada ammo and will be ordering from them primarily from now on. I just hope they get some bulk 9mm in! I can pick it up from a local gas station for $315 taxes included, but I'm hoping for a better deal from these guys

All ammo and FA they ship must be presented proof of age to be accepted , But if your kids are 18+ then your good to go!

I sure hope to GAWD your wife is! haha :p (just playin of course)

Yes not kids actually, they are 22 and 20 both with rpal, wife doesn't but mail man doesnt ask that. The hilarious part is, i have it on good authority that canam is in north Vancouver, same suburb as me outside vancity, population 135k and 66 square miles but i cant go pick up my order. Has to come by canada post. Lol.
 
so i guess i jumped the gun, lol.... (is that where the saying comes from). I only received the ammo today. I guess the 1911 transfer hasnt gone through yet.
the email i got from canam said your order shipped, and it listed ammo and gun...

so much for improvement at the BCCFO office.

So i got home from work today and canpar arrived with my 1911. It was supposed to yesterday with the ammo but he missed the box on the truck. I don't think the transfer has gone through yet cause i don't have any registration papers.
 
They wouldn't have shipped without confirmation of transfer from the CFO... Almost everything I've ordered this summer showed up before the paperwork! At least it isn't taking 3 months to get the transfers done anymore!

Hmmm,, interesting. I got the cfo confirmation last time before they shipped. Yes that means they approved the transfer in 10 days.

My understanding is that technically you can... It's in your name, and once it's at home it is on your LTATT. Should local law enforcement happen to take an interest in your activities you are in possession of a legally registered restricted pistol, a valid LTATT and a valid PAL... The same holds true if your certificates or PAL are lost/destroyed... As long as it's good in the computer it's good in the world. Not to say it isn't MUCH tidier if you have all the physical evidence of this in your possession...

Thanks. That makes sense. I always wondered why i had to have the paper certificate when it was registered on the cfc system.
Only time i could see a problem is if the dealer accidentally shipped it to me , so i don't really know for sure, or have proof, that i am the registered owner.
 
Ordered my 440 rounds of 7.62 x 54r in a wicked ammo box on the 14th, arrived today from Vancouver on the 26th (12 days total) and they included new targets for me and three gun magazines! Very happy with their speed, very happy with the product (and price!) and I'll have some great reading at work tonight!
 
Heh, you got three gun magazines! :( I only got two and two of the mini gun pens. The targets were nice but I wish they had a black dot in the centre. I usually do this myself with a marker.

Oh yah, the ammo was nice too. :)

Damn, I wish I had your luck. I will continue to wait for my shipping notice, but if it ships out this week I will be happy.... better than my previous order that took nearly 2 months.
