hey guys , I did a bit more homework on my handguns and I am looking around for answers about the Clone of the Beretta 92fs the Girson ? are they a reliable gun and can they shoot 9mm Lead ? the reason why I ask that is cause I can only shoot Lead amo at my gun club and if I have to start moding my gun I might as well buy the beretta . if any one can help me that would be great if you got one tell me your experience about the gun Thanks guys .

I bought a compact by mistake (wanted the full size, but the Internet chose otherwise).

I've shot cast in it from day one without issue. No more leading than any other pistol. I just buy the 125gr cactus plains bullets from Sheldon over at The Firing Line in Wpg. I've been using Titegroup powder, just because it's cheap.

It seems to be a nice robust gun and it has never given me trouble, but for some reason I'm not terribly taken with it, so I'm strongly considering selling it and saving for a CZ Shadow Line, which I've since fired and liked a great deal more

when your talking about cast are you talking about Lead amo ?

Hey I just herd that if I use a reload lead 9mm it will void my warrinty on my brand new gun is that true ?

Any reloaded ammunition will indeed void most warranties. Gun manufacturers will usually make that very clear in their warranty policy. How they would ever know you used reloads is the real question to ask.

There is probably ways they can find out but could they really find out amd what dose the reloads do to damege the gun ?

Mostly improperly reloaded ammo is the concern.....double charge, oal too long or too short, weak crimp, etc....anything that leads to over pressure rounds

If your gun explodes in your hand due to bad hand loads you will have concerns other than the possibility of being out a few hundred dollars, I believe.

Even though the warranty states it's voided by the use of reloads, most manufacturers realize that if something breaks that is unrelated to the use of ammo (trigger parts, hammers, safeties, slide doo-hickies, etc) they will still warranty the parts. If, however you double charge a round of 9mm or don't crimp the load and the bullet sets back and detonates the gun, you're on your own. Everything I've seen about the Turkish Beretta 92 clone - including handling one side by side with a new Italian 92 indicates that they're a well made pistol. They are still a 92, anything that is wrong with the 92 is wrong with the clone.

ya man I never knew that a re load can blow up your gun , its wired at this gun club I am or might be joining has a messege board and one guy posted prices for lead re loaded 9mm and 45 is 15 bucks for 50 rounds now I am pissed cause I never knew your warranty is #### if one of thows re loads blow up on you

I bought the full size bright white w/stainless slide. After breaking it down and comparing it to a beretta 92 I can honestly say that Girsan makes a very high quality firearm. The machining is actually better than the Beretta, and the guide rod is stainless in thr Girsan vs. plastic in the Beretta, and the machined finger grooves are really comfortable. It racks super smooth and the trigger is amazing for a factory trigger. And as for durability, they use the same nato test protocols that HK does (highest in the industry)...and we all know the torture tests HK uses. It also shoots more accurately than I am capable of shooting.

Summary: dont hesitate to buy one, best value for dollar on the market right now.... love mine and am considering buying a compact now as well. As for ammo, I use Barnaul 124gr (cheap as borsht) and have zero issues

what I am worried about is buying the gun and have a re load explode on me , the reason I say that is cause the gun club I will be joining only allows lead bullets and no full mettel jackets

If its Wolf bullets reloads they are a commercial manufacturer and no concern. Some dude at the range selling reloads is actually not legal and I'd steer clear of that entirely.

As Hitzy said DO NOT SHOOT SOMEONE ELSES RELOADS...unless its a reputable corporate factory reload company (Wolf). Otherwise reload your own. Im sure you can find factory leads, otherwise find a diffrent range... some joe schmoe reloads could hurt or even kill you, never trust "some guy at the range" with his reloading capabilities.

I thought selling your reloads is illegal unless you're licensed to sell reloads.

15 for 50 of 9 mm is expensive.

15 for 50 is pretty decent

Join a different range.
