Whose fired the most 7.62x39 in one sitting?

Me and my buddy went to the pits the other day and he went through a whole case of x39 in his cz 858 (only rifle he brought out). I was kinda shocked to say the least haha. Hey I love shooting but I'm an ammo hoarder at heart. The most I've shot one rife in one day is 400 in my 858. Now by seeing some pictures of your guys ammo stockpiles I'm curious to see what some of you nutz have shot haha

Edit: not just 7.62x39 specific any red surplus will do!
 
when i was in Quebec i have a good sand pit at 5min from home so 2or 3 time a week i was shooting most of the time with my cz858 or sks and is was most of the time 150 to 250 round , the last year i shoot near 3k of 7.62 x39mm , i have bough 4 crates of 1320 round for 255$ with tax each , after each session i clean the place and keep the empty case , after this i go to the scrapyard and they give me 55$ for like 30 pound of steel and 30 pound of brass, because i a lucky one my romanian surplus where brass case ^^
 
The first time I took my sks to the range I fired off 850 rounds of copper washed chinese surplus ammo. I developed a slight cough and gritty throat for a couple of days after... :onCrack: Kinda like smoking a pack of $hitty cigaretes.
I switched to Romaina after... no more cough ;)
 
Wow guys, crazy round counts. I felt like I was breaking the bank last thursday when I went through 160 rounds of 7.62x39, a brick of .22 and 100 rounds of 30-06.
 
TWO entire crates in 3 hours with just my buddy an I, with two chinese SKS's.

The other question is- how much more ammo would you use if you didn't have to reload every five rounds? After shooting a few hundred rounds five at a time, I get frustrated and pack it in. With a stack of 30 round mags I could see going through a crate no problem.
