What comes in the box with a new Tavor Gen 2... how old could an FDE model be?

Just bought one... im excited. Just curious about what comes in the box with a new Gen 2 Tavor in FDE? Also wondering, what is the oldest an FDE Tavor could be? I though they were only offered for the first time about 2 months ago so it would have to be the newest production if its FDE right?

Can anyone tell me what the barrel threading is on the flash hider? I assume its a typical .223/556 thread (1/2X24?).

Seriously though, Ive seen some people list a case being included? Is there really a sling? Im just curious. Is the mag the IWI polymer or a metal one?

What about the sights. Ive seen them listed as being IN the rail and ive seen some listed as flip up sights mounted TO the rail. Are both included or just one?

Yes the FDE will be a very newly made Israeli rifle.

Your barrel threading will be the AR-15 standard. Have fun with different muzzle devices! I personally like the Ares Armour as you can close/open individual ports on the brake.

Thanks man, if I dont like this gun, your in trouble. Lol... my decision was largely influenced by your comments, suggestions and videos. Your "running" video on youtube is one of the few that actually shows in detail how to FUNCTION the gun. Where the controls are etc. That was very helpful.

I got mine on the EE... unfired but from a guy who bought it when they were available. You can get restricted ones (on a pre-sale) from Irunguns.ca but I havent seen any non restricted versions for sale sine that last batch came and went in a matter of days.
 
I just ordered mine from al Flaherty's and they just got a shipment last week.
i pre-ordered mine over a month ago so I'm not sure if they got any left in stock.
Glad I put the 20% down for one now I'm just waiting for the lhb to come in so they can ship it over already.
 
Got confirmation from the guy i bought it from. Comes with a carry case (that looks like it wont fit with an optic), a sling, a cleaning kit and it does come with both the integrated rail sights AND a set of rail mounted back up sights. So thats kind of a bonus.

Appears that it comes with a steel mag... all the US videos show a polymer mag. Not a big deal. I like the steel mags.
