I've searched the forum and can't find a definite answer. Has anyone installed e2 grips on a np22? I realize it will need the new style mainspring. I want to change grips from the factory ones anyway and I thought these looked good. If they won't fit any suggestions for replacements? Thanks

If the NP22 is modeled after the old P226 with metal hammer spring base then NO, The E2 is more then the grip its 3 parts "E2 Grip, E2 long strut and E2 short plastic hammer spring base"

I'm sure the np22 is a clone of the older style but I thought those parts mentioned were all replaceable. Oh well I guess I'll just look for something else.

Hmmm am not sure now lol

Take your grips off and take a pic of the NP22 hammer spring assy.

The answer is yes, you will require the E2 kit plus the plastic spring base as well as the new style torsion spring for the trigger bar. The only modification that needs to be done is a small amount of filing on the inside of the grip as Sig has one extra cut on the frame that Norinco omitted.
This is what comes in the kit, it does NOT include the plastic spring base. You will need the Plastic base to install this kit onto a Nork.

Trigger bar spring that will need to be changed {notice on the Nork the large round cut above the grip screw bushing is omitted. This is where you will have to remove material from the grip.

This is the old style strut/spring and retainer.
