I like SKS stock.
I like SKS refurbed.
I like SKS modified.

Sums it up pretty well.

They are cheap, buy many while you can.

I'm digging this a lot ! Simple and functional.

Getting tired of removing the rear Tech Sight to clean. Where did you find this Peep Sigh in Canada?

Removed my bayo's too and prefer it. Might have to pull out the dremel and remove the rest.

I don't know what it is but the SKS has a certain lure...love these little Rifles, I personally like to keep my SKS's stock except for the Murray's spring Firing Pin I put in them.
 
I found the peep sight sitting in a piece of 1/8" steel plate so I cut it out, drilled a 3/16" aperture, cut the rear notch off the original and welded the new one in place :)
Nobody makes anything that really interested me for an SKS peep so I did what I always do: I made one. There's 1 aftermarket part, one screw and one nut added to that rifle. The rest is modified issue parts.
 
Whatever it is, I don't like it. Where's all the flashlights? And how does she plan to hit anything without a pistol grip? And with no dust cover scope mount with a laser and NCstar scope it can't be accurate at all. It also needs an assault clip so she can bump fire it off the hip to have any chance of hitting something. Like ffs has she not youtubed this at all?

I agree, a copy of the JAE. It does look really good though for a regular joe's handywork. If you like that style check out the archangel promag stocks for the M305/ remington 700 and mosin which is similar and now in a few different colors.
 
Agree, just because someone doesn't like how Someone ELSE has their rifle setup doesn't mean you HAVE to like it. There is no need to criticize and bark at someone's perception of beauty - just turn off your computer and go shoot your OWN plain SKS & grin at how much fun it is.

You really have no clue about what's going on around you. You've been bashing every build in this thread since you dragged yourself in. Eventually people are going to grow tired of a negative hussy spewing that other peoples work is not good enough for you. If you think we care what you think then you just aren't paying attention at all. But if showing up to try and derail a thread with your frustrated attitude is all you have to offer then that's all you're ever going to get around here. And you call us sensitive. Ha!
