SAM 1911 Handguns - Great Quality!

Purchased a SAM Omega 6 40 cal single stack about a year ago for USPSA/IPSC single stack, It has never let me down at a match and runs reliability, that is, after replacing all the internal parts. I think the firing pin lasted the longest, making it to about 4000 rounds before snapping the stock ejector maybe to about 2000. Great Value for its cost. Total round count is probably around 10k rounds now

great stuff!

couple of questions.

can you tell us about the differences between the different models? IE regular and enhanced. I see the price difference, but that's it.

also I saw one saying "skeletonized trigger" but it clearly wasn't in the picture.

not baggin on you at all, I am just not really up on 1911's so I need more info.

I will be buying one this year! if that Omega was in .45acp I would be buying it.

I hope this helps.

I assume there is nothing preventing shooting lead cast reloads in this design? Traditional rifling, etc.

The SAM's are good value for sure. I recently acquired a used SAM and while the slide fit is good there is some rattle with the hammer cocked unlike the demonstration in the video. To be honest I really don't mind a slight rattle on a 1911.
